Introduction #
Subscription Bundle Integration allows merchants to offer multiple products together as a single bundled purchase. This feature supports both Custom Bundles and Fixed Bundles, enabling customers to subscribe to grouped products in one order.
The bundle widget is displayed on eligible product pages after theme integration.
Why It Matters #
Subscription Bundles help simplify purchasing for customers who regularly buy multiple related products. This feature supports structured ordering, improves subscription adoption, and reduces the effort required to manage separate product subscriptions.
How to Integrate the Subscription Bundle Widget #
1. Access the Theme Editor #
- Log in to the Shopify Admin.
- Navigate to Online Store.
- Locate the active theme and click Edit.
2. Select the Product Page Template #
- In the theme editor, use the page selector at the top center.
- Select the Product Page template where the bundle widget should appear.
3. Open the Product Information Section #
- On the left panel, locate the Product Information section.
- Click to expand the section.
4. Add the Bundle App Block #
- Click Add block within the Product Information section.
- Switch to the Apps tab.
- Select Easy Subscription Bundle from the list.
5. Review and Save #
- Confirm that the bundle options are visible on the product page.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
Bundle Types Supported #
- Custom Bundle: Customers can select specific products to include in the bundle.
- Fixed Bundle: Products are pre-defined and cannot be modified by the customer.
Best Practice #
- Integrate the bundle widget only on products intended for bundled subscriptions.
- Review the storefront after saving changes to ensure correct placement and visibility.
Note #
If the Shopify theme does not support Online Store 2.0, app blocks cannot be added through the theme editor. In this case, contact support@easysubscription.io to request manual widget integration.
