Introduction
Setting a preferred email ensures your team receives important alerts, updates, and subscription related notifications from Easy Subscriptions. This keeps you informed about critical events like failed payments, customer actions, and system updates without needing to check inside the app constantly.
Why Add a Preferred Email?
Configuring a preferred email lets you:
- Centralize communication for subscription management
- Ensure important updates aren’t missed
- Route alerts to a dedicated team member or support inbox
- Improve response time for customer issues or failed transactions
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open Easy Subscriptions Settings
- From Shopify admin, go to Apps.
- Click Easy Subscriptions to open the app.
- In the left hand sidebar, click Settings.
Step 2: Navigate to Preferred Email
Within the Settings menu, select Preferred Email.
Step 3: Enter Your Email Address
In the Enter Preferred Email field, type the address where you want to receive app notification emails. This can be your support email, for example support@yourstore.com, or a specific team member’s inbox.
Step 4: Save Changes
Save your changes, then confirm the correct email address is displayed.
That’s It
Admin notifications from Easy Subscriptions, including payment failures, subscription updates, and other alerts, now go to your configured preferred email address.
