Configuring Subscription Plans on Products You Choose

A Subscription Plan allows merchants to define subscription based purchase options for products.This feature enables customers to select a delivery frequency such as daily, weekly, or monthly, removing the need to place repeat orders manually.

 

Subscription plans help how often a product is delivered and whether it can be purchased as a subscription only or as a one-time purchase alongside a subscription.

How to Create a Subscription Plan #

 

Step 1: Open the Easy Subscription App #

  • Log in to the Shopify admin dashboard

  • From the left navigation panel, click Apps

  • Select Easy Subscription App

Step 2: Access Subscription Plan Section #

  • In the Easy Subscription App dashboard, locate the left-side navigation

  • Click Subscription Plan

Step 3: Create a New Subscription Plan #

  • Click Create Plan from the top-right corner

  • Enter the Plan Title and Plan Name as required

Step 4: Select Products #

  • Click Browse Products

  • Select the products you want to include in the Subscription plan

Step 5: Configure Subscription Frequency #

  • Define the delivery interval (daily, weekly, monthly, or custom)

  • Optionally add a Badge Name such as:

    • Exclusive

    • Limited Period

Step 6: Save the Subscription plan #

  • Review all configured details

  • Click Save in the top-right corner

  • The Subscription plan is now active

Subscription Configuration Options #

Merchants can control how customers purchase products using the following options:

  • Subscription-only product

    • Customers can purchase the product only as a subscription

  • Subscription + One-time purchase

    • Customers can choose between a subscription or a single purchase

These options are defined while creating or editing the Subscription plan.

  • Use clear and descriptive plan names to avoid customer confusion

  • Limit frequency options to those operationally manageable

  • Use badge labels only when they add clarity or urgency
