Standard Migration

The migration process allows you to seamlessly transfer existing subscription data from your current subscription application to the Easy Subscriptions app on Shopify. This ensures that your customers’ subscription details remain intact and functional within Easy Subscriptions. Before initiating the migration, make sure that your store is using Shopify Payments as the payment method for subscriptions.

By following this guide, you will be able to export your current subscription data, format it properly, and import it into the Easy Subscriptions app without any hassle.

• Log in to your Shopify dashboard.
• Click on the Apps section from the sidebar.
• Search for the Easy Subscriptions app and click to open it.

• Inside the Easy Subscriptions app, click on the Settings tab.
• Look for the “Import Subscription” option.

Download the provided Sample CSV Template. This template shows the exact format required to import your subscriptions into Easy Subscriptions.

Export all subscription contract data from your current subscription app, ensuring you capture all necessary fields like customer details, billing schedules, and product names.

Copy and arrange your exported subscription data into the format of the sample CSV template. Make sure all data matches the required columns such as subscription ID, customer information, product info, and billing intervals.

Return to the “Import Subscription” section, upload your completed CSV file, and wait for the data to be processed.

Download and review the Import Logs to ensure there are no errors. If any exist, troubleshoot based on the error messages provided.
