This migration guide is designed to help merchants using PayPal Express as their payment gateway transfer subscription data to the Easy Subscriptions app on Shopify. If you’re using PayPal Express, ensure that it is properly configured for subscription payments, including enabling reference transactions on your PayPal account.
- Ensure that PayPal Express is enabled on your Shopify store.
- Verify that your merchant account is approved to use reference transactions.
- Contact PayPal support to request activation if not already enabled.
- Log in to your Shopify dashboard.
- Go to the Apps section.
- Open the Easy Subscriptions app.
Inside the Easy Subscriptions app, go to the Settings tab and look for the Import Subscription option.
