How to Create a Dynamic Bundle in Easy Subscriptions #

Dynamic Bundles give your customers the flexibility to build their own subscription box by selecting products of their choice within your defined rules. This feature is ideal for brands offering meal kits, supplement plans, personal care items, or custom assortments.

⚠️ Important: Before setting up a dynamic bundle, ensure all products are:

• Published on your Shopify store

• Available for purchase and not set to draft or archived

  

Step-by-Step Guide to Create a Dynamic Bundle #

Step 1: Access the Bundle Section #

1. From your Shopify Admin, go to Apps > Easy Subscriptions.

2. In the app sidebar, click on the Bundle tab.

Step 2: Click “Create Bundle” #

1. In the top-right corner, click the Create Bundle button.
   

Step 3: Enter Basic Bundle Details #

• Bundle Name: Add a clear, descriptive name for internal and customer reference (e.g., “Weekly Meal Kit”).

• Bundle Tags (optional): Use tags to help organize and filter bundles later.

• Shipping Profile: Assign the appropriate Shopify shipping profile (e.g., Free Shipping, Flat Rate, Express, etc.).

Step 4: Select Bundle Type – Build Your Own Box #

1. Choose the Build Your Own Box option.

   • This allows customers to select their preferred items across one or more steps, each with limits you define.
     

Step 5: Add Bundle Steps #

Each step represents a product selection stage in the bundle-building process.

1. Click + Add Step

2. Configure each step with the following:

   • Step Name/Title: e.g., “Pick Your Base”

   • Step Description (optional): Add a short description or instruction for this step.

   • Step Icon URL (optional): Use an image URL to visually represent the step (optional but useful).

   • Min/Max Limit: Define how many products a customer must or can select (e.g., min 1, max 3).

   • Add Products: Select the specific Shopify product variants to include in this step.

3. Repeat for each additional step to complete your bundle flow.

   

Step 6: Set Bundle Price Rule #

You can define how the final bundle price is calculated:

• Fixed Price: One flat rate for the bundle, regardless of selected items.

• Product-Based Price: Total price is based on the products selected, with optional percentage discount (e.g., 10% off total value).

Choose the pricing model that works best for your offering.

Step 7: Save Your Bundle #

1. After reviewing your configuration (steps, limits, pricing), scroll to the bottom of the page.

2. Click Save to publish the dynamic bundle.

Your Dynamic Bundle is now ready for customers to explore, customize, and subscribe to. Customers can build their box by following each step, staying within selection limits, and enjoying the experience of personalizing their subscription.
