Cancel, Pause, or Skip Subscriptions in Easy Subscription #


With the Easy Subscription app for Shopify, merchants can provide flexible options to cancel, pause, or skip subscription orders directly from the dashboard. This functionality enhances the customer experience and helps with Shopify subscription management, reducing cancellations and boosting satisfaction.

Open the Easy Subscription dashboard in your Shopify admin.

Navigate to the Subscription Contract tab to begin managing active subscriptions.

Search for the specific customer whose subscription you want to manage. You can search by:

  • Customer Email
  • Customer Name
  • Subscription ID or Order Info

Click on the “Eye” icon to open the full details of the subscription contract.

From the subscription detail view, you can take one of the following actions:

  • Pause Subscription: Temporarily suspend billing and order fulfillment. Use this for customers who plan to resume service later.
  • Cancel Subscription: Permanently stop the subscription. Use this when a customer chooses to end their service completely.
  • Skip Subscription Order: Allows the customer to skip one or more upcoming billing cycles while keeping their subscription active. Useful for vacation holds or product pauses.

All actions update in real time and reflect immediately in the customer’s subscription record.
